Is there a "kit" or directions somewhere to build in a 'slide out desk' into and existing armoire such as this

You might be able to source a "kit" or online or through your local cabinet maker. Who installed/built your existing cabinet?...that would be a good place to start!

fun! And while you're looking for that one item - a library ladder or other unique piece - you will find other great things! We have found a pair of antique french doors - only 20" wide each - but 90" high! We have the perfect spot for them! And too many more items to mention in one post!

Silver Bookcase. It's a great sculptural presence for a space that needs a little height. We need this in the living room.
