Could you offer advice on plank width and direction for hardwood floors? I am looking to install it throughout my house
Hello, we were not involved at the plank by plank install of this reclaimed wood flooring. Best to speak with a hardwood floor installer for your unique installation
Most reclaimed pine flooring is going to be butt jointed. I love the circle saw marks on the planks.
Those look like7" planks to me.....lovely
Wide plank flooring, ship-lap and simplicity
the color and width of the planks in the flooring are notable
wide planked floors, planked wall, airy feeling
These wide-plank reclaimed wood floors are what I would die for — they're warm, rustic and inviting, without being too rustic. They still work well in a modern space.

What are the wall planks? Is it the same shiplap fir that was used in the bedroom?
Why engineered planks on the ceiling and poplar on the walls?
different material for the ceiling than the walls. Any reason you didn't use the engineered planks for the walls? It was recommended to me to use the engineered on my sheet rock walls in Florida because it would be more stable, less prone to warping with the high humidity. Can you offer your thoughts
You say there is a 5 degree angle. How many inches is the wedge at the bottom and how may inches at the top in order to make the 5 degree angle? Thanks very much for your help.
The top of the bench back is about 4" away from the wall (at the top of the wedge) and about 5-7/8" right at the seat of the bench (at the bottom of the wedge). This gives you your 5 degree

Where do you get ceiling planks like this? Thanks!!
creating a space with plank ceiling in open area
I love the thin planks and the way the ceiling accents the dining area in a very open room.
Would you take the look of a floor to the ceiling? Perhaps your bold choice will be a beautiful slick walnut or cherry planking for your family room ceiling. Perhaps you will choose to take terracotta tiles from the kitchen floor to the ceiling. Perhaps you will be struck with inspiration in the flooring

Is that a concrete counter top? Or something else (on the island)?

of bold lighting in the kitchen. The pendants over the island are gorgeous — but what really caught our eye were the two-armed wall lights over the top cabinets. Instead of installing recessed lighting underneath the cabinetry, Tharp decided to give the kitchen a lofty, almost art-gallery like look.
