I love the chairs! Can you please tell me who makes them or where they are from. Thanks!
Hi! Handcrafted Metal makes a variety of custom zinc countertops, including island countertops, though we can't take credit for the one seen above. We can make them to perfectly accommodate your kitchen, no matter how complicated. For example
website: http://handcraftedmetal.com/Island-Zinc-Countertops-5058.html On our website you can also see a variety of other custom countertops. We can make them out of copper, zinc, pewter, bronze, and stainless steel. Here's a link to our countertops page: http://handcraftedmetal.com/countertops.html
Zinc's tone darkens with time. It's antimicrobial properties make it a smart choice for a cooking space.

Who makes the pendant lights above the island?
The finish on the cabinets is satin and the walls is flat. Please test the color first to make sure you like it. Photographs can misrepresent a color and it will look different in different spaces. Always make sure you like it in the space both during the day in natural light and under artificial light

Who makes the lamps on the sideboard?
We love it too. It's through a wholesale vendor that we work with, unfortunately it is discontinued. If you are interested in making a purchase we can source something similar for you.

What is the color/make of the countertop?
What is the make and model of the lighting fixtures over the island and the name of the granite on the counter
are they transom cabinets? 24" width? 48" or 51" height? I am trying to figured out if I stack 24" wide cabinets (total 48" maybe 51" high), how can I make it look good (36" + 12", 36" +15" ...) . I like how you put it here. I'd appreciate your answer.
you can (except the tiles, of course). Imitation is the best form of flattery :-) If your kitchen opens to other rooms, you may have to do more to make them work together nicely. But if you stick to the undertones of your floor and your countertop, it'll all come together.
answering all these questions! I came searching specifically to see if my question - are the clients happy with their pop-up downdraft vent and what make and model is it - have been mostly answered. If you've heard back that they've decided they wouldn't do the pop-up vent next time, an update would

There are a few manufactures that make these blinds in your looking for something more cost effective Home Depots has there line called Hampton Bay .They make Woven shades just like this and from being in the industry for such a long time I would
Yes! An upholsterer should be able to make a frame from wood and wrap all of it in the same fabric. You could add tufts to the foot as well but it would be lower. Make sure the tufts line up horizontally to one another.
The throw is actually a couple of years of a heavy upholstery fabric from Kravet. I used a blanket binding for the edges. If you would like us to make you one, just give me a call! Debbie Talianko (626) 836-2935 or find us at www.TaliankoDesignGroup.com Thanks for asking!

shows the microwave better. It is not a typical "built-in" microwave. We tend to prefer providing a slide-in cubbie for microwaves where possible. This makes it easier for the homeowner to slide-in a new microwave when the old one breaks down or something better comes along.

great idea for making maximum use of the room
This could work in front of the window, put a top over the top and a memory foam top and make a window bench or extra bed for the space. You could move the storage dressers away from the wall and place the top where the mattress will lay on
wall instead with one long dresser (or a bunch of little matching dressers) to use every last inch. Filling the space from wall to wall can actually make your room look bigger, too.

Even light fixtures can make a difference when it comes to acoustics. Wiener suggests using fabric shades instead of glass or metal fixtures.
in 2013. It's a great time to focus on movies. This is a gathering my kids love. This works great if you have a media room or just a big-screen TV. Make tickets and collect them at the door when the kids arrive.
