The design is convenient to owners. Locating adjacent to the bathroom, the owner can simply slide the door open to get the clothes with the “step-on light button” on the staircase.
How to reach the space hidden behind the steps?
Would you have to slide the steps aside? How? Are they on rollers?
There were no space behind the steps as it was the wall of the bay window right behind the steps. From Clifton Leung Design Workshop.
step-up closet serves as additional storage
I love the closet floor with the switch and LED lighting.
thought the steps in the closet were interesting. don't need step stool
idea - storage steps slide back for basket access
You've heard of a walk-in closet, but how about a step-up closet? Leung created these storage stairs to maximize space for clothes.

What type of celing lighting was used? and type of bulb.
I see hanging clothes are illuminated but can't figure out where the light is coming from. Is it inside of the pole that holds the hangers?
are "light up rods" available for purchase retail?
what compay made the square light fixtures?

Yes - they are also called light bars or under cabinet lights in a typical search. EnvironmentalLights.com offers a premium line of LED under cabinet lights and accessories you'd need to create a lighting system like this in a closet
closet. They are also dimmable and can all be controlled through one dimmer. http://www.environmentallights.com/Under-Cabinet-Light-Bars_C456.aspx We offer complimentary design services if you need help selecting the right parts for the job, you can even send us your plans and we can create a parts
The mirror was owner supplied so I do not have info on it. I believe the lighting company supplied it along with the mirror.
The idea of the vanity and mirrors first then a step up to the massive closet
pattern on ceiling for dressing room. vanity or bath. I think this would reflect great interest with flush mount clam light or a simple classic chandelier
Love the step up into and having floors, walls and ceiling all the same wood almost like a capsule
Make up area and step up into closet... Very cool
blackened with a stain from PureColor. Wood appliqué ceiling tiles were chosen in a pattern similar to that of the client's favorite store: Chanel. Warm lighting and a comfortable chair offer a cozy spot for getting ready or curling up with a book.

step-down design for closet in spare bedroom
I like a lot about this design. lots of shoe storage. drawers for smaller items/lingerie. recessed lighting above is subtle but makes it easy to see. also like drawers along bottom in what normally becomes dead space.

Center light fixture, whos the supplier?
Center recessed light, where did you get it. Thanks so much for our time
What are the narrow slats in the ceiling to the left for? Is that light tracks? Air
I like the sleek look of the recessed lights. Where can I get them?
recessed lights are fitted/trimmed? can you provide more pics of these? please
I have seen something like this from Eurofase, but without the light around it. It looks like a custom creation.
I like the look of your recessed lights are
trimless system and the drywall goes right to the edge of the opening. Likely in this case, they created the center fixture by first setting in the pot light, and then building small ridges around the edge of the ceiling cut out to support an optic lens. These types of lenses are usually found on florescent
