They probably left some wall open without tile so they could install the mounts for the mirrors! Either that or they're attached to an inset medicine cabinet in the wall?

This is called a veincut travertine tile. We have the same exact tiles in many different sizes. We call it Patara Veincut. Attached is an image which shows 16x24 and 24x24 Patara Veincut Tiles.

that you have the rainshower from the wall.. Did you have any issues with it sagging? I have a 12" showerhead from Riobel and it seems rather heavy to attach to a long shower arm. Was there anything special that you did to prevent the arm from sagging/snapping? Thank you.
