Very Modern Basement Remodel by Moss
who make the table?where can I get that - and are the blue lights on the billard table? or did you add that feature?? so love it!!!

The most common type of lighting in a basement is recessed. But, like in the rest of your home, the lighting should be layered, with ambient light augmented by task lighting and accent lighting.Pendants are a great source of task lighting, as seen here in the pool table and bar.

Moving into the lower level with softened natural light was key, so the knotty pine walls, low-hanging ceilings and vinyl flooring were updated with a raised ceiling, natural stone finishes and reclaimed wood detailing.

"Having light sources on different planes makes the ceilings feel taller and gives the illusion of volume," says Crittenden, who mixed can lights, cove lights, sconces, rope lights and pendant lights to achieve the proper effect.
