On the right panel in the picture, does the glass panel hinge in over the tub, out over the floor, or both directions?
Jeff - our contractor has recommended we use a framed glass enclosure that sits in a 'track' on top of the tub, with a 'header' at the top of our glass panels. Several bath installers say this provides more stability for the glass panels, and reduces the potential for leaks rather than have clips
Benticott, do you mean the glass door? Or the wall itself?

curtain. Tempered hinged glass can give you the best of both worlds: the ability to reach the fixtures and the ability to keep water in the shower. Also, tempered ⅜-inch frameless glass is very durable, so even if you bump the panel against your toilet or vanity, it won’t damage the glass. Tempered glass

like a shower door with 1/2" tempered glass. The glass ceiling allowed me to light it with spots on the 10'0" ceiling for light. The inspector required wet area lights still, however, they aren't needed for safety. He was being overly cautious. The ceiling's frosted glass made dust less visible, so reduced
between the shower ceiling and the room ceiling open for free airflow. Client loved the open, airy look. A note on frosting tempered glass: if code required a "tempered glass" mark (it should), don't wash it for at least 24 hours, or the mark may come off. Have fun with your design!!
3/8" - 1/2" tempered glass gives a strong glass door. Check with your local building code, as you must meet its requirements. Here's my supplier (to get some ideas on clear vs frosted

like the idea of the back-painted glass floor. I would put it on a layer of concrete and do it whole so that there is no grout cleaning issue. Or, even, crackled tempered glass on concrete, or, even, chicken-wired tempered glass, like in highschool doors.

Glass floor very interesting!!! and I love back painted glass.
Walking on glass. This innovative floor of shattered back-painted glass gives a whole new dimension to walking barefoot. The subtle pattern of grouted glass shards adds depth to an otherwise standard

The white frost and turquoise window is amazingly private. I have a glass floor-to-ceiling window being placed into my shower with an opaque gas inside, however, this seems like a beautiful alternative, what is the window
Hi. If you mean the large glass panels, you would have to ask the contractor for the name of the sub. DA
What type of glass is the shower glass and who did you work with for install & purchase, etc?
It is a product called channel glass, made by Pilkington. It is beautiful but
I like the soft diffused glass.
