This home had a very small bathroom for the combined use of their teenagers and guests. The space was a tight 5'x7'. By adding just 2 feet by taking the space from the closet in an adjoining room, we were able to make this bathroom more functional and feel much more spacious. The show-stopper is the glass and metal mosaic wall tile above the vanity. The chevron tile in the shower niche complements the wall tile nicely, while having plenty of style on its own. To tie everything together, we continued the same tile from the shower all around the room to create a wainscot. The weathered-look hexagon floor tile is stylish yet subtle. We chose to use a heavily frosted door to keep the room feeling lighter and more spacious. Often when you have a lot of elements that can totally stand on their own, it can overwhelm a space. However, in this case everything complements the other. The style is fun and stylish for the every-day use of teenagers and young adults, while still being sophisticated enough for use by guests.

We love this bathroom remodel! While it looks simple at first glance, the design and functionality meld perfectly. The open bathtub/shower combo entice a spa-like setting. Color choices and tile patterns also create a calming effect.

A full renovation of a Primary Bath Suite. Taking the bathroom down to the studs, we utilized an outdoor closet to expand the space and create a large walk-in wet room housing a shower and soaking tub. The homeowners of this large single-family home in Fairfax Station suburb of Virginia, desired a remodel of their master bathroom. The homeowners selected an open concept for the master bathroom. We relocated and enlarged the shower. The prior built-in tub was removed and replaced with a slip-free standing tub. The commode was moved the other side of the bathroom in its own space. The bathroom was enlarged by taking a few feet of space from an adjacent closet and bedroom to make room for two separate vanity spaces. The doorway was widened which required relocating ductwork and plumbing to accommodate the spacing. A new barn door is now the bathroom entrance. Each of the vanities are equipped with decorative mirrors and sconce lights. We removed a window for placement of the new shower which required new siding and framing to create a seamless exterior appearance. Elegant plank porcelain floors with embedded hexagonal marble inlay for shower floor and surrounding tub make this memorable transformation. The shower is equipped with multi-function shower fixtures, a hand shower and beautiful custom glass inlay on feature wall. A custom French-styled door shower enclosure completes this elegant shower area. The heated floors and heated towel warmers are among other new amenities.

The tub utilizes as fixed shower glass in lieu of a rod and curtain. The bathroom is designed with long subway tiles and a large niche with ample space for bathing needs.
