is wonderful. For a teak floor like this one shown, a more economical installation plan than a traditional mud pan with tile would be to utilize a pre-made stock solid surface shower pan, but you do need to be sure the installer takes sufficient care to address the junction between the pan and the wall

Think long termIf you love al fresco entertaining and your garden does not already have a terrace, it’s probably worth getting some decking laid in your outdoor space. A lawn is lovely, but it is not a practical surface to entertain on — the combination of showers and heavy footfall can

I love this house. How much would it cost to build? We are plan shopping and this is one of only a few my husband and I agree we like.
The house would cost approximately $500-600K depending on level of interior finishes chosen etc.
Interesting exterior; I like the roof line over the patio/would be deck
Houzz. The plan is two rectangles perpendicular to each other, each with roofs that wrap down the exterior walls. The section on the right is also a deck with a large overhang overhead requiring a slender column to support.

questions: 1) who makes these sliding wall systems 2) can this type of wall system be installed in an existing wall with Arcadia doors to enlarge view. We have height and width. 3) What is the approximate cost--ball park.

forum easily until now so I am just now seeing this question for the first time! It is colored and stained concrete. There were some issues with installation, and it became soiled during construction, so unfortunately, it had to be painted as well. But it was originally conceived to be stained only. First
enough color powder to the wet mix to give concrete deep colors. This is because the color powder makes the concrete dry very quickly when being installed. So, when you wish to have concrete in any color darker than a pastel one, you have to stain it! Even that has numerous challenges in obtaining a

Love the idea of a tile deck, but curious what type of a surface is underneath. Concrete? Rubber deck? Is one kind of a surface preferable? Or is a certain climate better? We live in the NE, and never see tile decks, but would love to have one.
Ryan Singer: I usually use a company called Deck-Rail.com, J/K! Though the two pictures I posted are my designs and my installs, the base shoe railing can be found at CRL or RB Wagner but I usually by the base shoe from my aluminum supplier
Regarding the type of installation for your region you would need to consult your local building code. This type has waterproofing then concrete float to level the deck then thinset to adhere the tile. We had the tile sloped into center with a couple
