Like idea of slab of wood for table. Classic, country, modern, but still practical and fits many.
In this country-cute dining room, a set of rounded-back dining chairs have slipcovers with short casings. Short casings are a playful way to change up your dining

Modern Country home tour
Greg likes this look. A little bit of country, and a little bit of rock and roll.
Heavy surface, rustic (country) finish, steel legs blend into the rug and seem to disappear. Note the "farm simplicity" is carried through the style of the chairs.
