I would hope these doors would open or the top would lift up for storage. Otherwise it would be so much wasted space!

The drawers are opened by pulling on the strip of moulding while the lower doors are touch latch hinged....you push them and they pop open.
Wish I could help but the project was 10 years ago and the contractor is the one who purchased the copper and he is out of the business.
