Beautiful fireplace - would love to get the information on where to buy it
Love the floor, what kind of wood and finish is it?
The fireplace is beautiful! What materials were used (is that tile)?

Can you tell us the wood type and stain?
was the lighting designer on this project and I'm not sure there's any cabinetry in this photo. The area above the fireplace is a stone with edge lit glass bands. Below the fireplace, what you see is a chest that is used as a coffee table. The architect was Brian West with Charles Cunniffe Architects
I love how well it works with the unpainted wood trim. I am having trouble finding the right tile for my foyer - we have a lot of old oak trim in the house that my better half won't let me paint!!
What is the tile made from? It looks like wood.
Dark Window trim with White baseboards.
white floor boards, wood around doors and windows

including simple wood panels, beadboard, raised panels and horizontal wood paneling. And while the finish of the wainscoting can match the wood trim, it doesn't have to. For example, a painted wood baseboard and wainscot of simple, recessed panels works well with the stained wood window and door trim
