A heavily wooded and sloping site inspired a bridged entry to the expanded foyer on a contemporary "Deck House". Taking cues from the surrounding landscape, the supports were canted to take on a more natural and generous approach.

Antique wooden doors were fabricated as a rolling barn style door to close off access to the upper master suite. Oversized glass table lamps rest on a primitive teak console table. A steer horn and cowhide chair in the foreground. Floor tiles are black slate.
