This home is also in Arizona where there is less concern about moisture bridging the barrier. For more information about copper and Galvanic Action

Is it your design intent for the shingles to turn a silver gray and the copper clad chimney to turn a verdigris color with time? I admire the detailing and the simple forms of all your work Mr. Noyes.
The chimney is clad with copper panels that will patina to a nice natural color over time. Best, Nick

copper, wow! now I know why it looks SO good! :) Rhoda
Copper doesn't "naturally" turn green the way it used to because, believe it or not, our air quality is much better than it used to be. The green patina results from exposure to acidic rain and our post-industrial
post-industrial environment just doesn't put the kind of polutants in the air that it used to. Most green colored copper that is installed today has been artificially exposed to acids during the production process.

I love the lanterns. Would you be able to tell me where you got them from?
They look a lot like Lantern & Scroll's, Market Street Collection. You could try them. I use them all the time and they are great to work with and amazing prices. Good Luck!
A great entry. The "orange" wood door, the contrasting stonework, the large lanterns. I would love it more if the smooth castle brick lines were a solid unbroken surface in maybe a stucco texture
