Like the front window, the back window projects from the house, cantilevered a foot or two above the ground. But unlike on the the front, all the glass here is clear, and the area inside is an extension of the floor, giving more space for seating near the kitchen.

what is the name of the glayish color around the windows?
That is not paint, those windows are rolled steel. I recently had a client who wanted a similar look for an interior partition, we just painted wood Benjamin Moore's Wrought Iron, it looked great. BUT if you can afford the steel windows, nothing looks better!
