what color you used for the trim and the ceiling? Thanks.
Very nice design, wood floors are superb. However
see, interesting. well just another decorative element I suppose; just stands out to me as a little odd, gives it an M.C. Escher feel! Again, floors are so impressive..
The trim and ceiling are also Vanilla Milkshake
color of the walls and trim?
That's pretty wild. I had looked at a paint sample in person after seeing your gallery and thought it looked a bit warmer than it did on the trim, looking at this photo the swatch looks more like the walls. I'm going to be using it on thick window trim
Milkshake. The ceiling is a flat finish, the trim is a semi-gloss, and the walls are matte.

boards? I know you used decorators white on walls but is it a flat finish?
Hi Charlie, Hoping you could provide more details on the trim work. Thank you for
dimensions. My question is if the trim is a stock product or did the carpenter rip down to size as suggested in another post? In addition, does the trim have an eased edge or back band around the door/window frames? Any other challenges in terms of scale or profile 1/2" trim causes vs traditional 3/4"?
Love the trim - what DOOR look did you use.
Hi -- for trims around doors etc. I just do 3 to 4 inches - no set rule really - If it is a feature entrance you could go 6 inches if you want. I do what I want the look to be. Like if it's going to be a modern space I go with a no trim look - I just use a small corner trim.

What type of wood is this beautiful floor made of?
sounds to me like the problem is in the finish. It also sounds like you'd probably be happier with the Pure ''color" which is colorless. It darkens the wood a bit but I think the results are more natural/classic. I am suspicious of the Rubio Cleaner because it seemed to leave a white film when I spot tested

Woodwork isn't always painted in farmhouses, but if your home has limited light, you may consider painting any dark wood to brighten your space. Just be careful — once you paint wood, there's
