Those are custom acrylic frames. Try your local plastics store: Have a hole drilled in each corner of the acrylic sheet, as well as the artwork (here Japanese Chiyogami paper), and pull tight with wire. Voilà!

When I had the plexiglas boxes made, I made sure they drilled holes along the top every inch. There are a total of 88 holes per box. Once installed, I simply made sure the branches could fit inside the 1/4"
