Like the wood and Tile mix. Might be nice for hallway with the same wood as the rest of the floors and the same tile as is in the powder room and our en suite. really like this.
I like the pattern and exspecially the border
skirting and roof pop of the same wood color.

This is the effect I'm looking for in the main entry and with the formal living area
Can you please provide more information on the floor, color manufacturer.

Hi- Try the Art Diffusion line from Interlam. They can be ordered in 4'x8' sheets, but they do custom sizing as well- and can help you lay out the pattern. There
try the "Z reveal" drywall molding from Fry Reglet. Install the reveal as manu. instructions (you may need an additional wood block between the studs) and finish drywall; than install baseboard.

However, the sideways corbels on ends of bench look improperly utilized. Meant for a vertical application on top of a pilaster/column
Ironically the staircase and the bench are the only original elements remaining from this 1920's Gold Coast mansion. Hence I cannot comment on the use of moulding. The original lamp that goes ontop of the railing adjacent to the corbel was restored but not yet installed when the photo was taken.

I like the tile floor - both size of tiles, light color grout and color. I like the ldea of wall plugs in a few of the cubbies - for iphones, etc. I like the drawer idea below hooks.
Like the thickness of the wood for the bench and supports and clean lines. Also, the bench slightly hangs over the bottom supports.
each of the cubbies!! Totally Awesome! I also like the clean no frills look of the cabinetry. Also the open bottom foot cubbies might be an idea to save $$$.
May I ask where the carpet runner came from? So interesting!
Where is the bench from? Thanks!
Details and color or the floor? I love it!
