This two-story penthouse apartment embodies many of PMK’s ideas about integration
in the design—solid woods, concrete, and raw metal were selected because they stand up to day to day needs of a family’s use yet look even better with age. Brick wall surfaces are carefully placed for the display of art and objects, so that these elements are integrated into the architectural fabric of
life. Designed for a young couple with a recent newborn daughter, this residence is centered on a common area on the lower floor that supports a wide range of activities, from cooking and dining, family entertainment and music, as well as coming together as a family by its visually seamless transitions
custom designed by dSPACE Studio. You could take the photo from our project to your architect, designer, or millworker and ask them to create your own unique design. The baseboards are 12" tall and the crown is 8" tall. It should be reasonably easy and you can then say your project has a one-of-a-kind
d design element. Thanks for your question and good luck with your projects. dSPACE Studio's portfolio of award winning work can been seen at www.dspacestudio.com

Sometimes our clients are limited by existing conditions (existing locations of beams or duct-work for example), in which case we try to keep doors consistent within an area or floor. For this project, the typical door height/cased opening is 8'-0". Thanks

Amoroso Design... The mirrors are from vivaterra! Happy Designing!

sustainable design has to look like it? Designed to emulate the owner’s favorite country club, this fine estate home blends in with the natural surroundings of it’s hillside perch, and is so intoxicatingly beautiful, one hardly notices its numerous energy saving and green features.

Very nice design, wood floors are superb. However, the sideways corbels on ends of bench look improperly utilized. Meant for a vertical application on top of a pilaster/column
