My white Scandinavian home. Splash of colors. Old & new. Always in change.

How all the colors jump out from the white
Then, for maximum durability, paint your primed floor with oil-based exterior-grade paint. Work from the back of the room and paint your way out to the door. Simple white floors are becoming very popular; you can stop with just that one color if you like.
White floors with white walls really make a statement. The fact that these floors are wood plank keeps this from looking vintagey. Everything stands out in this environment, so choose carefully.

hood is pulled out. Are the main upper cabinets a standard 12" deep? Most of the vent hoods that I've seen are 12" deep at the top. If the cabinet over the hood is deeper than 12", how were you able to get the hood to fit flush with the front of that cabinet? Is the vent hood pulled out from the back
it is made out of granite but can't give you further details since the owner took care of that part.

love to find out the name and brand of the vanity sconce!
What is the brand and style of the door knob?
Do any readers/designers out there know
EW: Is this vanity made of wenge wood like the kitchen island? What type of finish is that on the doors? CE: Yes, the vanity is also made of wenge wood. The doors are a high gloss lacquer car finish in white. This bath is in fact the least traditional room in the house.
white towelsNothing looks as fresh and clean as a stack of fluffy white towels for a bathroom shoot. Buy new towels for the occasion and bring them out during open-for-inspections, too. When the house sells, you can celebrate by actually using them (after a bath with a glass or two of champagne).

Displaying art collections
was built out to form the niches where special fluorescent lighting tubes were installed behind each section. The Back wall is acrylic lined with rice paper. Then the acrylic “grids” were installed where there is a box for each bottle giving the effect that each is floating. Finally glass doors were installed
installed to not only keep out the dust…but also “fingers” and to make the collection all the more important.
cut out nooks on either side of the bar
Jenny- We would like to have "niches?" like this in a handful of locations for our collections with doors that lock. Not locking because they are that valuable but because they are fragile.
Recessed cabinet w full glass doors
napkin ring display: I like the simplicity of these display cases to recess the case into the kitchen wall and have clean hinged, glass (plexiglass?) doors.
