open (no cabinet doors), and room for headgear/helmets, jackets, and footwear down below. Given the size of our mudroom, each of these 4 areas could likely be a bit wider.
The cubbies above the jacket hooks...possibly use ikea expedit with doors for the top part.
coats, boots and more organized by installing cubbies. Build them with different compartments for large and small items, and don’t forget hooks for jackets.
