I was wondering this as well. We want to put one of these between our Kitchen and Living room. The opening is 7' wide right now, and would only be able to slide down one side of the doorway like this one. It would have to be quite large or I would need two, I'd prefer just one.
Cindi you can buy recessed pulls for the other side so that they don't stick out and scratch the wall when the door opens. And it makes them look nice from the other side!
