comment on why it's ok to have hide rugs or leather upholstery. Both the stuffed giraffe and cows are large scale mammals. Is it because giraffes are perceived to be exotic, rare etc? Sorry but this is a largely cultural issue and probably not one for Houzz to decide. I am sure in India where cows are revered
