Like this paint color for library
colors are great and mirror too
When painted as an all-over color on the walls, black or a dark shade of gray can make a huge impact. The bedroom shown here is incredibly dramatic, but not at all as harsh as you would expect. When you contrast black with lighter colors it helps the space to feel more open giving you

What brand and color quartz? Tnx!
Could you please tell me more about the color of the tile and grout? I'm hoping to do something very similar in my kitchen and I know grout color choice makes such a huge difference.
One thing to keep in mind with quartz is that the darker, more solid-colored quartzes tend to show scratches and dings much more than lighter colors that have more aggregate or patterning to them.

(LRV), a measure of how much light a color absorbs and reflects — especially if your windows are small and there is limited available light. Color (lighter colors reflect more; darker ones absorb more) and sheen level (more gloss equals more reflection) also have an effect.
4. Amplify the light. In a room like this with one small window, the white paint amplifies the light. Mirrors on the sides of the window opening also would maximize the natural light. Tip: Inquire about your paint color's light reflectance value (LRV)

the space isn't too dark. The wide mirror (with its integrated light) and the wall of windows help to lighten things up in this bathroom. The lighter color of the sloped ceiling makes the room feel more open, too.

Overall, darker colours make a room feel smaller and more intimate, while lighter colours reflect the light and create a sense of spaciousness.GREAT FOR: Living and entertaining areas
