stainless and Im forever polishing them with an oil based polish. What do you clean them with? Can you buff out scratches? About how much a sqft. can I plan on paying? Any help would be great.
WD40 and leave on overnight. Wipe off with paper towel,the next day, and scratches are gone. Didn't believe it till I tried it.
No. They're stainless steel and no matter what finish you put on stainless you'll always have some "smudging" - they are, however, very easy to keep clean.
fingerprints and scratches than you might want to consider something besides stainless steel for your counters. While stainless is fantastic for a "real working" kitchen (as is the case in this clients home) it will always, as a material, scratch and show fingerprints. The beauty of this "sueded" stainless
I find that glass top cooktops like this are always showing smudges, and the grooves around the edge as well as the joint between the burner and glass is near-impossible to clean.

of a marble bar, but I love it, and this one looks great. The bar is where everything is happening. It should be the centerpiece, which it is and the feel/soul of this room, which it does not. One last thing, last but not least, What is up with that orange wall?? Put your hand over the left side

beautiful and somewhat resembles marble. I read that its more porous than granite and Im concerned about staining. Anyone have experience using/installing this material? I've also heard that it could be brittle and difficult to install. True?
