Stainless steel can be used as a hard working countertop. However, most of my residential clients shy away from it as it scratches ( of course it does). Every once in a while, when I am looking for a special counter around a prepsink
plywood substrate, wrap it in stainless steel and weld a sink to it to make the whole piece appear seamless. In this particular application the end of my so-called 'Infinity Island' (fashioned after the Infinity Pool outside) drops down from the glass counter into a slightly lowered stainless steel counter
material to maintain properly. You can actually see on the photo that I did use copper in this kitchen as well, as the door finish on the liquor cabinet of my sculptural bar, which is the 'little brother' of the fireplace. The copper was chosen to bring the materila which was also used on the front entrance

Thanks for answering my question about space. I have a large wall, but the Elise 1 is a large tub for me being 72" long. The Elise 3 is not available in any of our local showrooms

the chrome looking thing is. Is this a support post to ceiling? What is it attached to below, and how? I have a fixed support post to work around my remodel and need ideas. Thanks!
bunched together...? if you need to cladsuch a post you can do this with a number of means, depending on your personal style/taste/budget....some of my work has posts wrapped in cabinet material and some sit invisible inside tall cabinetry. if you want to wrap it in stainless steel as on the photo then
I have a supporting post in my kitchen. I like what you did with the steel poles. What material did you use to do this?
