oleander quartz? i couldn't find via google.
Absolutely stunning! Is quartz cheaper than marble and is it easier to look after? Thank you!
name of quartz counter? Is it like Cambria Torquay?
term "quartz" is being used interchangeably with "quartzite." Quartz is man-made (Caeserstone, Silestone, etc.) and quartzite is natural. The picture above is referred to as "real quartz", but it's quartzite. Caeserstone, etc. is advertised as 94% quartz, but that's by weight, not volume. Despite
would any natural stone, clean up spills as soon as you can and be careful with acidic products, those will eat through the finish on any stone but may show more on a white one.
Sorry. One more question. Does natural quartz have the same issues (scratching, staining, etc) as marble? Or is it more duarble

is one slab? How was it applied to the wall? Thanks.
Love this kitchen.... how thick is the backsplash slab?
typical 3/4" slab, but the front edge has been mitered to 1- 1/2"
Yes this is a single slab applied with adhesive.
to your nature, you can't go wrong. Also -- check out super white granite as an alternative. It does not have the same veining as marble. Yet it has the same color scheme and also shows off the beauty of nature. Good luck!
feel that natural wear/tear/use over time brings beauty and authenticity (e.g., there are thousands of marble countertops in Italy that are well worn with stains). Others feel more comfortable with a surface that is pristine ten years after it is installed. It's all about personality. Keep in mind that

The slabs are 30" x 72". Fortunately the seams blend in with the natural pattern on the slabs.
The slabs hit the wood floor. The other fireplace photo from this project illustrates it better.

low shower curb made of natural stone
back lighting a slab of onyx is a great art piece!
lthough it's difficult to see in pictures, curbs need to be tilted toward the shower so they drain properly. Tip: When working with natural stone, avoid drilling glass door
agate slab wall for back patio
working with natural stone, avoid drilling glass door hinges into the curb because that can cause leaks. If you're stuck without an alternative, make sure that your installer drills only through the tile and not the shower curb's waterproofing.
