Wood is warm. Pavers, grass, gravel, dog friendly. Hand-held showers. Stone/tile backdrop. Works nicely with house. Visually and sensually appealing.

I have been reading that these tiles tend to expand and contract with the weather. Are there any tiles that are not made of hardwood that would not have this problem? Some sort of manmade material like Trex decking?
Could those deck tiles be installed on top of an existing patio?
Aesthetically, I love the appearance of this deck. I have never walked on an Ipe or Teak tiled deck--does it feel not as "solid" as a standard deck?
