Screen size is a personal preference. This room was not intended to be a home theater, but rather a simple family room. The owners chose this TV and asked me to design a way to display it that was clean, modern and artistic.
This picture demonstrates repetition. The blocks on the wall repeat down the whole entire wall. The type of repetition this is, is opposition because the lines

After originally thinking these were board mount, using a waterfall technique, I further studied the picture and realized there was a recessed cove. Very nice detailing.

tiburon home with Asian influence
This is the type of window I have in my informal LR. It is about 120", a real "picture" window. I welcome the light on dark dreary days, but it faces the street, and open for all neighbors, walkers, etc. to look inside. I current have full drapes, but I want to utilize the ledge --convert it to seating
well done! I grew up with the same view only higher on the hill, in Kensington. I have always thought that a bench with a bay would be perfect for homes like these . I rarely saw them done. I commend your talent. Simple, functional and comfortable. I am surprised about no permit though.
Use a window seat to celebrate the architecture of your home, as this large bay window does.

Form. This photo to me has lots of form in it, mostly shown from the sides of the table, and the angle take of the picture. you can see multiple sides from just about everything shown, the beams in the door ways and just above in the windows, aswell as the wooden person

I'm looking to do something similar in my new home and was wondering if you ran into any limitations or challenges using the steel support.
