Love the paper towel holder built in like this! What a great idea! Was this custom? Where did you get it? Thank you so much!
sanded until very smooth. The client was big on DIY and spent hours in the backyard making this happen! It is finished with linseed oil. The edges are steel as the edges are vulnerable as all slate tends to sluff.
I know the stainless steel draws are a dishwasher but if they could just be metal draws for storage instead of cabinets love love

Thinking of this counter top for my busy kitchen. Worried about the finger prints. My appliances are stainless and Im forever polishing them with an oil based polish. What do you clean them with? Can you buff out scratches? About how much a sqft. can I plan
Where I can purchase the "sueded" steel counter tops please?Judith

want to consider something besides stainless steel for your counters. While stainless is fantastic for a "real working" kitchen (as is the case in this clients home) it will always, as a material, scratch and show fingerprints. The beauty of this "sueded" stainless steel finish that we used is that is

On one side of the kitchen is a stainless steel countertop that was custom made in Brooklyn, matching the appliances and continuing the clean style of the space. The only thing kept during the remodel was the upper cabinets. Everything else is new, including the layout, which Dana wanted to keep simple

table that I'd like to make the tops Stainless. Thoughts? Appreciate any help... Also, the house is a Passive Solar design, so the Sun beats on the deck all day/night. I am going to do some 'sail shades' at some point to cover the entire deck.
The stainless steel bar top is custom. It is over 14' long
do on the East Coast? During winters? Would they rust? I'm looking to invite some stainless onto my deck design to match my home. Most of the deck is all pressure treated wood, but my home is modern w/ a galvanized steel roof so I want to tie that into the deck. So I have a bar top to do, as well as
