I would like to know if this shade is hung from a rod and if so, what type and is it mounted on the ceiling or wall? Also, what keeps the pleats so sharp? I there a strip of wood or the like sewed in? I want to try and make a shade like this and would appreciate

Hi. It looks like these shades are what I described as "mixed mount" meaning inside mount on one side and then sort of "outside" mount on the other side (except for the middle shade). Am I seeing that correctly? If so, our windows are the same style, meaning
If your window is that big (12 foot wide) look into honeycomb shades they can be made that wide.

Those are custom roman shades, done with a Dwell Studio fabric called "Casablanca Geo" also available through Robert Allen. I did this same fabric in a colour called Citrine

Do the window frames go right up to the ceiling or can you hang roman blinds above the window frame?
