I love this path! The crushed granite in combination with flat stones looks great. I'm wondering
of width and base layer preparation is best (same PNW climate). Does the path need buried edging to keep the gravel in place? Finally, what about durability
I am sure debris still makes it way to the path. Its best to not allow the debris to decompose on the path otherwise you can end up with weeds in the
stepping stones on mortar to keep them from rocking in the gravel. For this path, the gravel is 3/4" clean crushed granite to a depth of about 3". Area is
weight commercial weed cloth with seams overlapped & pinned. This particular path has no edging, though I do often use edging. It depends on how clean a look
