Tjhe pony wall is indeed 3 1/2 ft tall - the glass is approx 1/4 inch tempered.
those appear to be 6" tiles on the wall making the pony wall roughly 3 1/2 feet tall by tile count.
1. Add a half-wall to protect against splashes. Ideally, an open shower requires at least a 6-foot buffer zone on every side to avoid flooding the rest of the bath with water. But a half-wall, such as the one that divides this shower from the vanity, can help to contain droplets.

Those stairs are 4' wide. To go to 6' the glass would need to become quite a bit thicker, like 2 1/2". Other than that, other elements could remain the same
stairs are 1 1/2" laminated glass, tranlucent wall, not between steps but glass wall surrounding steps, could be clear rather than opaque?
Typically the stringer is cut to provide a base for each step, or tread. Steps need to be perfectly equal in height; even a 1/4-inch difference can cause trips and falls.
