Great design. How did you comply with building regulations for safety when the hatch is up and also lack of handrails down the stairs?

Like how you walk down the stairs to the middle of the cellar.
This how my basement should look

I'm not sure how temperature and humidity control work when the walls are glass - if it's more difficult than with traditionally insulated walls - but this glassed in closet looks fantastic.
