Dining room was restored and developed. Owners discovered original box beams concealed above drywall and removed ceiling. Buffet and high windows are original. Likely, there was once a plate rail at sill height so we added one with MDF wainscot below. Leaded glass china cabinet doors are new, by craftsman

It's great how the owners were able to salvage the design of this room... you really don't get to see a lot of built-in elements in homes like this anymore.

It's a metal sheet with grooves in a diamond pattern. The kitchen was upgraded by the previous home owners and the current owner isn't sure where they had this done. Isn't it great?
The home owner does not know who made the cabinets.
The previous owners did a beautiful job remodeling the kitchen and opening up the family room. The open-concept floor plan is more in line with modern family life, but it still maintains the feel of the original Craftsman style.
