It looks in the picture like there is a darker color paint on the peak above the front door. Is that a darker paint or just shadows from the lighting?

Look in the upper dormer window. Top left corner. There is a face looking out the window. If you are able to save picture and zoom in, there is no doubt that is a face!

correct. Also HC-41 Roxbury Caramel (also not spelled correctly above) is very golden/yellow on the swatch and looks very creamy off-white in the picture. Any help would be appreciated.

like a McMansion with a "Craftsmany-sort of-facade". Especially since the landscaping is all "new" and there isn't a single old growth tree to be found.

I thought all of these homes were suppose to be "Ranch style homes", this is not, right?
love this plan but it's a lot larger than we would like. Would it be possible to scale this same plan down? Also,do you have any completed interior pictures?
To his credit he was able to recall that the siding is Hardi but a custom paint color he didn't remember.(but not a Hardi color like heathered moss). All the trim is a hardi product as well. He mentioned the windows were actually Pella Architectural Series. It appears the color is Pella's Brick Red. Though

We are only allowed to post pictures that our clients approve however there is not a "girl's bedroom" in this project.

Are the upper sash windows all 1/3 of the overall height? Or how were they designed?
top, bottom or both. Once the smaller sash is behind the larger sash – that’s all folks…..
I don't recall the specifics. There are some limitations on dimension that come from window manufacturers, so they may not all be precisely 1/3 2/3. Sorry for the delay in answering this!

yes, the shingles are all Weekend Getaway. They just look darker due to the shadows, which we don't see here in Seattle too often. ;)
