This was a reclaimed door purchased either at the ReStore
looks in the photo, but in reality it could be a different story. We are planning on using LP Smartside an 8" lap siding and the bottom half of the front of the house is brick. I don't like vinyl so no worries there. It's an L shaped ranch and 1 gable end faces the street. I guess I'll have to do a
friend on this one. Judging by the deeper color I'd say its fir, as pine tends to be more yellow. The interior floors and much of the trim, including the door are all pine, so I believe the owners wanted the ceiling to match the other woods. Hope this helps, good luck with your project!

The front door is Simpson Craftsman Series Solano 2 6841 in fir with matching side lites, Cabot natural transparent finish
Tru-Stile and Woodharbor (which Tru-Stile also owns) make this style door, called Newport. Hope this helps. It would be nice if the professionals who post these pictures would be more responsive.
