Incredibly Green Home of Chevy Chase
Love the layout, especially the coffee bar away from the main part of kitchen.
Kitchen window seat & bigger work table
Formal Victorian kitchens (which predated the Craftsman era) were designed only for preparing meals — usually done by hired help. Kitchen activities were hidden from the dining room and living room. dining room / kitchen wall, can raise the wooden beam frame and still make it look original
The dark wood in its modern kitchen ups the cozy, warm appeal of this Craftsman teahouse. Wenge island countertops and a matching wenge sliding cutting board extend the prep and work surface without sacrificing style.
