The wood countertops were made locally by a company that uses beautiful old reclaimed wood with lots of character, and they hand rub the finish to bring out the patina
with a custom blend of MinWax colors, then finished with a satin topcoat. We made up several samples on extra pieces of SYP to get just the color we wanted, not too red and not too brown and complimentary to the antique heart pine countertops.
