surrounding neighborhood and even has a view to Lake Michigan. In a city where space is at a premium this new roof deck adds an outdoor living room, dining room and kitchen. Not to mention a hot tub when you're done with a hard days work.
but set in an intimate setting. I like that this also has curtains and roman blinds. We want the patio to have a rail, too and a gate, to keep the dogs (and little ones) from going out onto the lawn if we ever get a pool.
The feel of the space created just outside the house = the extended outdoor living room.
