The biggest concern with these options is balancing style with comfort: consider adding upholstery or cushions so no one is itching to get out of the seats.

What type of upholstery should you choose? Comfort, quality and ease of maintenance are key factors when choosing dining chair upholstery. Cotton-polyester blends are the most common, and for good reason: they are durable and easy to clean. For kid-friendly chair fabrics, consider choosing fabrics made from microfiber for its stain-resistant quality. Leather is also a great call; not only is it durable and easy to maintain, but it looks better over time.
