This was not a new floor. This was an 80-year-old, white oak floor to start. We do not know the brand of stain used, although it was "ebony" in color.

floors were stained to match an existing color. We don't have the exact formula but try using a blend of Classic Gray and Ebony from Minwax. Use only a little Ebony (1 part Ebony to 3 parts Gray). The species is a mixture of rift and quarter-sawn white oak. Hope this helps!

How did you apply the Tobacco glaze? Sponge? Brush?
I am unsure of the manufacturer of the glaze but I do know that Ralph Lauren carries a Tobacco glaze.

Can you please tell me which manufacturer makes this "light ebony " stain please?
How did you do light ebony?
Custom light ebony can be achieved by having a good on site sand and finish hardwood company use a blend of Duraseal or Bona Ebony stain neutralized or mixed with softer tones. Thanks for the question. Laurie and Chris
I believe the stain is Duraseal and this particular home is a modified version of the Light Ebony stain color
Yes they are indeed White Oak, stain color is Light Ebony. Thank you for your interest. Chris & Laurie

Peel away the painter's tape gently when the glaze and paint have dried and you finish painting the unmarked stripes. Usually, glaze should dry for
will not be covered with glaze. Step 5. Apply painter's tape along the pencil lines to border the unmarked stripes. Press the tape down firmly to prevent the glaze from bleeding underneath it. Step 6. Mix together 2 cups of the paint you used on the walls, 4 cups of glazing liquid and 1 cup of water
