We have 20 foot dining room and the decorator is suggesting 8 inch stripes. Do you have any suggestions for determining the width of the stripes?

pillars: You can apply embossed wood or plaster panels or apply decorative molding ( the sort used in finish carpentry). A couple of tips: 1) Pay much attention to the scale of anything you apply within the border of your pillars - You want to stay on the side of "small repeat" 2) Once you are done
