three white ones at a discount store and the brown one at a garage sale. She painted the salvaged table’s base legs using a mix of all the green paints she found in her garage. And she made the bottle lights by cutting off the bottoms of beer and wine bottles she found on her property during reconstruction
look sensational doing it.Note the use of a built-in bench on one side of the dining table. It looks inviting and comfy and allows for more seating on that side than chairs would.

I would talk to your local salvage yards to see what they can come up with or find out who they know that deals with salvage timber frame barns. Good luck!
The ceiling height of this dining room is 9' - 0" and the end beams are 4x8's with 4x4's infilling. These are all reclaimed hand hewn barn beams so there is quite a bit of dimensional variety.

Chalkboard Table DIY Project

Questions1
From my understanding, chalkboard pen doesn't erase well from chalkboard paint... would a repainting of the chalkboard paint be required after every use?
You don't need to repaint after every use. For the best results use a clean rag or paper towel with a squirt of chalkboard cleaner (http://www.neoplexonline.com/acrylic-spray-cleaner-chalk-bottle/) For a stubborn spot or residue "shadow," use a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser sponge.
A chalk board table would be super fun for entertaining.
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the chalk board table

Seattle and want to copy this. What is the height of the wainscotting - it looks to be about 4.5 ft? Also, did you use the same piece of trim on top of the wainscotting as you used on top of the doors and windows? Finally, is that 1x2 which is vertically separating the 8" MDF sheets?
plates to rest. Apron below is 5/8" x 3 1/2" and battens are 3/8" x 1 1/2". They are applied 8" on-center over 1/2" MDF sheets; there's no reason to cut the MDF into 8" wide pieces. Base is 5/8" x 7 1/2" with shoe to cover edge of flooring.
I may have misread your question. Using burgundy tone with Atrium White should work fine.
fibers and resins compressed under pressure and heat into building products. Sheet materials are denser than plywood and very stabile, so they are often used for cabinets and paneling intended to be painted.

this ceiling is a series of square tiles, hand made of Capiz shells. it is technically a wall treatment that we applied to the ceiling to give this room a "wow" factor.
pre-pasted. They are not! easy to install You can damage the delicate shells edges. We cut the tiles with a giant paper cutter. It is best to place a soft clothe on the face of the tile with a 2 by 4 next to the cutting edge to prevent shell damage and chipping. Work it 2 feet by 2 feet sections, spread

Gorgeous! I don't have the actual dimensions at hand - i will have to do some homework tonight. I appreciate your patience.
Sorry, no floor plans online but ironically - we switched from remodeling the mobile home to building so quickly - this home was built using the same basic layout but we extended the house 4' extra to the south for width - then connected it to an existing room! Our architect was Philip Lust
