really stain white oak to be almost any color. Minwax has several levels of their Walnut stain that really look incredible over White Oak. Something to consider. :-)

Hi Ann, Stains come in a wide variety of shades, but a paint color that would be close to the very dark stain in the photo would be something like Benjamin Moore
with dark trim, is Sherwin's Natural Choice/7011.

I have saved every photo of this house. We are trimming in similar stain color. I am doing hickory
custom mix stain by a company called Rolle Williams. I actually called the store and spoke to them, and they would have sent it to me. I finally got my mix right and did not need to do this. Remember, custom stain or any stain will come up different on different woods. Your best bet is to go to local paint
