Wall colors for living room with brown furniture
kitchen and dining room but can't retile the kitchen floor to match dining room and rest of living area. Would it be fine to have two different floor tiles in one large room with two diff purposes.

different woods. Your best bet is to go to local paint store or (or your woodworker) and do a process of trial and error until u get it right. Our home is like this contrast. I call it Merlot and it's just beautiful.

Inside wood walls are redwood t&g. Wood ceiling? Any ipe on inside? Or outside? Seems like all redwood which assume is mjch cheaper.
bought at a furniture store in San Francisco called Limn. Sorry... Can't remember the manufacturer but they are Italian and were quite reasonably priced for being made of silk.

Hello, I am thinking of using this light over a 78" x 40" dining table in a 15'9" x 13'6" dining room. Do you think the size is OK. My other option is the 24" dia. version. Thanks for your help
kitchen & dining room are an open flow area. My floors are oak wood, my cabinets are vintage java glaze, wood work ...somewhere between the 2 shades......would the revere pewter paint go with this color scheme or should I go with something more cream/beige? thanks for your advise!!
