What type of door is this? Brand and size?
What kind of insulation was used for this door?
since I did all the prep work (demo/framing/header/drywall, etc). Would you recommend the motor or just a simple, manual pulley system? What does this door have? (a motor in the middle of a living area might be a little odd.)
it from the bottom of the door frame to open. There's no great need to open these doors fast and they aren't that heavy. The door guys often will try to sell you the electric opener but it's not necessary. Enjoy!

Can you tell me door manufacturer, how it opens, material on ducts?
Looking to do a basement remodel and would like to use garage doors for teen hangout and like the idea of wrapping the ducts. Thank you, NJ.
The O/H door is a clear insulated glass and clear anodized aluminum door manufactured by Overhead Door Co. It operates via a chain hoist. The HVAC ducting is "spiral duct", so it is not a "wrap" per se.

In an urban loft, it's possible there could be way more space in your dining room than in your garage. Make the most of it by bringing an impeccably clean bike inside.

My general starting point, what I tell clients locally to expect for budgeting purposes, is $1,000 per linear foot of opening. This means
have a pocketed opening, you must count the full width of the pocket too. So for three 8-foot-wide panels stacking into a pocket, I would generically estimate $24,000. Using the same overall opening but stacking the panels would be $16,000, roughly. Unfortunately, Philip Johnson was right; it’s very expensive
