Love the use of benches in the breakfast nook, just curious as to how deep/wide the benches are.
of the bench? 5 degrees? Also, how did you solve the problem of the cushions sliding? Buttons, or did you pitch the seat to the back, say 3 degrees? Thanks
handle the bench on my own.
Yes the back of the bench is at a 5 degree angle. The cushions were not actually fastened to the bench because it opens up for storage underneath. The table also lowers to the height of the bench to make an extra sleeping option for the house, so the cushions needed to be
of the bench back is about 4" away from the wall (at the top of the wedge) and about 5-7/8" right at the seat of the bench (at the bottom of the wedge). This gives you your 5 degree angle.

try a bench instead of chairs on all or one side of your table. Make sure you can push the bench under the table so you can stash it away when not in use.
