A twist to a traditional dining area
family. They desired a look that was comfortable, creating multi functioning spaces for all family members to enjoy, combining the iconic style of mid century modern designs and family heirlooms.
Who makes the mid-century modern chairs?
The table is a vintage Danish Rosewood table, so unfortunately is not available. I have seen many wonderful vintage modern tables similar to this so I know they're out there!
Love the whole mid century modern look and the built in bench

If you have to use an engineered wood, maybe you could use one that has a similar look to polished concrete. Polished concrete is quintessential mid century as all of the Eichler homes that I've seen have concrete floors. A grey toned engineered wood might look really nice.

Can you buy table and bench anywhere in Canada?

Go big on the table and small on the seating. When looking to take up less room in a space, try a bench instead of chairs on all or one side of your table. Make sure you can push the bench under the table so you can stash it away when not in use.
This white chairs help connect the color palette of the sitting area with that of the dining area in this vintage modern open space. The chairs are available in a range of powder-coated colors; most recently I've seen them at Design Within Reach in yummy vermillion and plum, and at Sundance (that's

Mid-Century classics mix effortlessly in the dining area, while the Ben Ourain rug infuses the space with cultural appeal. Hi there| I'm able to make both the wooden table and the wooden bench! I'm a furniture maker.
Apparently, I'm obsessed with mid-century modern. Mix of bench and chairs. Karen

Art on an exposed brick wall. Benches with eames chairs
Mid-century charm. Bricks can create just the backdrop you need for a casual dining area. The white artwork pops against the warm tones of this lovely wall.

What is the dimension of the bench?
Love the use of benches in the breakfast nook, just curious as to how deep/wide the benches are.
What degree is the back of the bench? 5 degrees? Also, how did you solve the problem of the cushions sliding? Buttons, or did you pitch the seat to the back, say 3 degrees? Thanks
Can you tell me what kind of fabric is on the bench cushions?
laundry room. I hopefully can handle the bench on my own.
Yes the back of the bench is at a 5 degree angle. The cushions were not actually fastened to the bench because it opens up for storage underneath. The table also lowers to the height of the bench to make an extra sleeping option for the house

What about a bench instead of a trad table and chairs? saves
anything grand, but extended through the banquette and with extra deep counters, it lends an elegant and modern touch.
Small can seat a crowd. Make the most of a small space with built-in benches tucked into the corner of the room. If you have a bit more space, go for a round or oval table — you will
rectangular table will save the most floor space.Don't waste any space: Use storage in the benches for table linens and fancy dishes.
A banquette technically has upholstery, but you can make a wood bench work, too. An all-wood corner banquette can look seamless with the kitchen cabinets. Notice
This homeowner put a fitted unit in her small kitchen to make use of every available inch. She had a Formica company custom design the bench seating, which is made out of the same material as her countertops. To blend her flea market finds into this kitchen, the homeowner kept backgrounds and large items
