How to DIY faux paint in this pic?
step process. First paint the wall a color (purple shown) . There seems to be a panel like effect in gold. Tape with painters tape, in a vertical direction . The distance needs to be equal between tape "stripes'. Use a gold tone glaze and paint in a horizontal direction. Paint a section about 3 feet
Fromental. The paper is actually hand painted silk. The tree is painted on the paper and the flower buds are embroidered silk in custom selected thread colors. They appear to glow! This product is quite pricey, but you could achieve a similar look by painting a mural on a faux finished wall. Enjoy

To lighten and modernize the space, we repainted the walls a neutral gray and painted over all of the knotty pine. because the trim in the next room is painted a different color. Picasso would have liked this.

the trim is a fussy process, but even with all of that taping, it probably wouldn’t take as long as painting the walls — and it certainly wouldn’t require as much paint.
