The rafters are 6x8 spaced at approx. 30" o.c.. We did a light distressing with grinders, sanders and files.

my husband not confident with the stove paint and wax solution, as he believes it would wear off too quickly and we'd be left with an eyesore - I saw this finish on a concrete bench in an older magazine and thought it might be a good solution... I will look into concrete sealers, like Dry-Treat. Thanks

A Small Green Home
window and door trim are part of the home's original 1920s design. As I remember, the trim is about 4" wide.
